The London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange and the Visuals Arts and Galleries Association hosted Developing Partnerships between HEIs and the Visual Arts to provide an opportunity to discuss and explore the potential for the development of collaborations and partnerships between the research base in the university sector and the visual arts and galleries sector. The event was designed for visual arts professionals interested in developing new relationships with HEIs, academics developing research in the visual arts and cultural organisations with limited engagement with the university sector. The event took the form of a series of presentations followed by discussion and networking, and was a chance for artists and academics to meet future potential collaborators.
